IED Anywhere 2 addresses NERC security requirements

Bow Networks is pleased to announce Version 2 of our field-proven IED Anywhere application. IED Anywhere provides secure, managed remote engineering access to substation IEDs. Version 2 has been developed to meet the evolving security requirements of utilities, specifically those being developed as part of NERC's Critical Infrastructure Protection standards.

New security features include:

  • 2-factor authentication, using RSA SecurID
  • Individual user accounts
  • Audit log

IED Anywhere 2 includes support for 3rd party substation gateways, such as SEL 2020/2030, Dymec Dynastar, and many others. This allows wide scale deployment, at minimum cost.

A re-vamped user interface simplifies both use and administration, in both small installations, and large systems spanning hundreds of substations.

See the IED Anywhere 2 datasheet and application guide for further information.
